About New England Robotics Association

Dear Friends,

As science and technology continue to advance at an unprecedented pace, automation and robotics are becoming increasingly important in our world. From assisting in construction and performing precise medical procedures to exploring distant planets, robotics is transforming how we solve complex problems and shaping the future of society.

To provide young students with greater opportunities to explore this rapidly evolving field, we founded the New England Robotics Association (NERA) in April 2023. NERA is a student-led organization made up of dedicated middle and high school students who are passionate about introducing robotics to the next generation through competitions, camps, and educational programs.

Our team includes experienced student coaches with diverse backgrounds in robotics. Many of our members have earned recognition in regional and national competitions, and all have participated in world-level robotics events. Through our programs—including summer camps and online classes—we aim to deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences that build technical skills, creativity, and confidence.

Tuition from our programs is used to support operational costs, with any remaining funds donated to charitable organizations such as local schools and hospitals, further extending our impact within the community.

We invite you to explore our website to learn more about our programs, volunteer opportunities, and ways to support our mission. Together, we can inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators.

Thank you for your support.
